Our responsibility as Americans and residents of Washington should be that all people, especially people of color, are paid equally to the majority, have the same access to government/private services as the majority, experience the same treatment in our legal system as the majority, and be able to walk down any street without fear of harassment by law enforcement or civilians because of the color of their skin.

As a Legislator and private citizen, I will do everything within my power to make this happen.  People of color have been treated as second class citizens for far too long.  I will do everything I can to change the systems that have enabled these problems.  It should be the duty of all Legislators to fix these problems as it should be the duty of all Americans.  I am here to help change the system to benefit those who don't feel our current system works for them.
